Queenscliff Netball Club is keen to help our players develop whether it’s as Players, Umpires or Coaches.

In 2019 there will be FREE courses available to QNC Members who want to develop pathways or just brush upon their skills in these areas. MWNA offer access to many of these in addition to Workshops that will be held by our own Club.

Netball Australia – Rules of Theory Netball Examination – Available online year-round

We highly recommend this Course is completed your U/12 Umpires as part of their training program.  All Junior Umpires should seek to complete this course, even if they are not interested in a pathway as an Umpire. A useful tool for parents too !

Netball Australia Rules of Theory Exam

Netball Australia – Online Foundation Coaching Accreditation Course – Available online year-round

This is a simple online course available to any aspiring coach via Netball Australia. The cost is $56 and QNC will reimburse any of our Coaches is they choose to do it. You just need to email the Treasurer your Invoice, Certificate and Bank Details.

The accreditation last 4 years so it will need to be refreshed.  Takes 2-3 hours and can be left and revisited as needed to fit in with busy schedules.

Netball Foundation Online Accreditation Course

Netball Australia – Online and Face to Face Development Course Accreditation – Online Available all year round. Face to Face is organised through MWNA

This is the second step in the Coaching Accreditation pathway with Netball Australia.  The new blended online and face to face Development Coach Accreditation Course is targeted at Club, Association and Regional coaches and teachers aiming to further their netball knowledge. The course is the second step in the national coaching accreditation framework and provides a good introduction to skill progression and fault detection and correction.
